In addition to their petrol sales, Budget Petrol operate a comprehensive convenience store, mechanical workshop and car wash at the Matraville site.
The addition of this Solahart 47kW solar power system has resulted in energy savings of 40-50% for this petrol station in suburban Matraville, located south of the Sydney CBD.
In addition to reducing its carbon footprint by switching to solar, Budget Petrol Matraville is saving approximately $12,000 per year in electricity costs.
